- Father was also a 37th round draft pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1990 and hit .292 over a 14-year career in the minors and independent ball

- Chose UC Irvine because I love the campus and location. The coaching staff is also top of the line and I couldn't see myself playing for anybody else
- Wore #9 because it was his dad's number, recently wore his favorite number, #1, throughout high school
- Fan of Michael Jordan, Ja Morant, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Los Angeles Dodgers
- Enjoys watching The Equalizer, any of the Transformers movies, action movies, anime and crime TV shows, and the musical stylings of NBA Youngboy
- Hobbies included basketball, listening to music, cooking, ceramics, and playing piano
- Acted as a child in various TV series such as Parenthood, The Cape, and House of Lies
- Has an orange poodle named Punkin
