Finnegan Wall Signs for Minnesota Twins

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- On Wednesday, Finnegan Wall signed as an undrafted free agent to the Minnesota Twins.
After five successful seasons on the mound for the Anteaters, Wall begins his professional career. Wal made 53 appearances for the 'Eaters starting 24 times with five wins and 116 strikeouts over his 138.2-inning career. He had his most successful season in 2026 with career highs of 58 innings, 47 strikeouts, and three wins to go with a 4.03 ERA while making 12 of his 14 appearances as a starter. He had an injury cut down one of his seasons in 2024 which followed a breakout summer campaign in the Cape Cod League going 2-2 with a 38 strikeouts and a 2.91 ERA over seven starts.
Prior to this signing, the graduate had been playing within the MLB Draft League for Aberdeen winning twice in seven games pitched with a 4.21 ERA and 19 strikeouts before the Twins came calling. Wall joins fellow pitchers Trevor Hansen and Ryder Brooks who each heard their name called in the MLB Draft a couple weeks ago. He also joins a multitude of Anteaters throughout the Twins organization with Taylor Rashi in Triple-A, Caden Kendle in Double-A, Jacob McCombs in High-A, and even high school signee and No. 1 overall draft pick in 2017 Royce Lewis on the big-league club.
Wall becomes the 28th Anteater alum playing professional baseball this season across Minor League, Independent, and even Korean baseball leagues.
