VACCINATION INFORMATION
This document is subject to modification because public health circumstances are dynamic and UCI's response changes as the virus mutates, our understanding of the virus develops and community transmission fluctuates. Covid-19/Vaccination protocols: Campers and their families must conduct a symptom check each day before camp. Campers must not attend camp if:
All online camp/clinic registrations will close at 12pm PST, one (1) business day before the camp/clinic begins (this will either be the Friday before the Monday/Saturday/Sunday, Thursday before the Friday, etc.). A full payment must be made. During the academic school year, sport specific clinics are available depending on the sport in the fall, winter and spring. UC Irvine Athletic Summer Camps offer full day and half day youth camps, with most taking place Monday through Friday. High School age camps have a different type of schedule depending on the sport and may be one (1) or two (2) days in length. |
| REGISTRATION |
| We do not provide Walkup Registration or Over the Phone Registration. Registration MUST be made online and registration closes at 12pm one (1) business day preceding the camp/clinic start date, unless the camps is canceled or the camp as reached full capacity registration will close early. Registration will only automatically re-open if registrants cancel or transfer to a different camp opening up more space of registrants or if camp capacity is increased. We do not have a waiting list or a mailing list. We do not issue credits for camps/clinics only transfers and refunds. |
| CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT |

For any participants under the age of 18, a parent/guardian MUST be present at all check in and check out periods. NO EXCEPTIONS. If parents wish to have other parents/family/friends or their own children sign out of camp, an email of consent must be sent to the camps office prior to camp with a parent name, camp name, name of the participants and a list of who is approved to sign in/sign out the camper. You can email all requests to camps@uci.edu.(An email of consent is not needed for sign-in / drop-off) Government ID or anything that can be used to identify yourself must be shown to check-out your child. **FOR ANY CAMPERS (more specifically GROUP REGISTRATIONS) who are registered on accounts other than their parents/guardians, the account/registration name will be under whoever registered the camper/s along with the account address (campers name will appear on the card) . |
| REFUND & TRANSFER POLICY |

If cancellation for any reason including medical is made within two (2) weeks of the first day of camp, there is a 25% cancellation fee. There is a 10% cancellation fee for ALL cancellations made at least two (2) weeks prior to the first day of camp. There is a 0% cancellation fee for requests made 30 days or more before camp, duplicated camp purchases and canceled camps. All refund requests are subject to a cancelation fee. All cancellation requests must be made in writing by 5pm PST on the day before the start of camp. No refunds will be issued for cancellation after this time. Any requests to transfer must be done within the SAME CAMP/CLINIC SEASON (ex: you cannot request a transfer from a summer camp to a fall clinic). Transfers can only occur between camps in the same sport. All cancellation and transfer requests can be sent to the Camp Office at camps@uci.edu. Request for both Transfers and Refunds cannot be made over the phone or at camp.THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT ANY REFUND/TRANSFER REQUESTS WILL BE APPROVED. |

EXTENDED CARE |
|
Complimentary Extended Care is available for all campers Monday-Friday from 7:30-9:00AM and 3:00-5:30PM on camp days. Extended Care is not available for camps that end at noon. The Extended Care Tent is located at the Berm in Anteater Stadium or Anteater Recreation Center (ARC) depending on the location of tha camp. Extend Care includes field activities, noncompetitive sports, and board games. No formal instruction is provided but there is Camp Staff Supervision. If a camper is picked-up from extended care after 5:30pm there will be a late fee. |
