- Aspires to be a psychiatrist to help people that can't mentally help themselves much like him and his epilepsy
- Has coached in the Challenger Program coaching disabled kids to play baseball
- Most people do not know that he suffered a traumatic head injury while playing a summer baseball game, entering his senior year, which forced him to miss five months and develop epilepsy
- Defying the odds of not being able to play baseball and earning a Division I scholarship are one of his two proudest personal accomplishments
- Committing to the Air Force Academy on a full ride during his sophomore year was another; he was medically disqualified once he was diagnosed with epilepsy…
- Fan of Ken Griffey Jr., Pete Rose, Rafael Furcal, and the Los Angeles Dodgers
- Enjoys watching his favorite movie Hardball, listening to Vincente Fernandez, playing the euphonium, and was in a band for three years
- Loves eating Pupusas, and favorite animal is the honey badger
- Hobbies include juggling, fishing, golfing, coaching challenger program, and recent began an internship with PureGame
