Anteater Newcomer: Isabella Meric

IRVINE, Calif.-- UC Irvine women's soccer brings some Northern California flavor to the squad with newcomer Isabella Meric.

Meric is an attacking midfielder that's recently earned a call-up to the Armenian Youth National Team where she played in all six matches of the UEFA U19 Championship qualifying rounds back in December this past March. Meric is also a native of Benicia where she's played at Benicia High School and earned all-conference honors. On the club level, she's recently been part of Mustang Soccer Club, and prior was able to represent the U.S. on the DPL International All-Star Team that competed against English teams.
Off the soccer field, Meric has shone in the classroom earning Principal's Honor Roll recognition, and she's interested in pursuing a career in nursing.
