+ UCI has 10 points with two matches left and two points off the final postseason spot. UCI sits behind five schools all tied and competing for three spots in the postseason tournament
+ Sara Paul continued her goalkeeping duties with two more starts. Wednesday, she made four saves for a new career high. Saturday, she helped UCI to a 1-0 victory, her second career win and first career shutout, stopping two shots in the process
+ Mimi Yamamoto had the game-winner last week heading home a corner in the 75th minute. Yamamoto ups her season total to three goals and nine points, both second on the team, and eight of those points in Big West matches to lead UCI
+ The 50-match club grew last week adding two new members up to 112 on Wednesday. Chifumi Sasaki and Clara Samson both started Wednesday at California Baptist to reach 50 career matches for each. One more could potentially join them with Hailey Clingan sitting at 47 career matches and just two regular season scheduled contests left.
+ Anteater freshmen and debutantes have played a combined 4,933 minutes this season. In all, 14 different Anteaters have made their collegiate debuts with Keira Baranski's first career point and Sara Paul's first career shutout last week
+ Non-conference journey finished 2-3-2 winning and losing at home and on the road. UCI played the No. 1 ranked team, went 1-1 against the Pac-12, and a pair of draws against teams .500 or better

Wednesday vs. the Titans
+ Cal State Fullerton is coming off a shocking loss giving up two goals after the 86th minute to UCSD. The Titans sit second in the Big West, three points off the top, and searching for their 10th win
+ All-time this is the 40th matchup between the schools with CSF up, 17-14-8. Last year was a 0-0 draw, and UCI is 3-0-2 in the last five meetings in Anteater Stadium dating back to 2015
+ The Titans score nearly two goals a game with Cassie Villanueva (7 G, 9 A) leading the charge and four others netting three or more goals
Saturday at the Tritons
+ UC San Diego scored a huge win to keep them within reach of a Big West title and bye. UCSD is 9-3-5 and could have something to play for on Halloween and Senior Day
+ All-time UCSD has the 10-2-7 advantage, and UCI has yet to win since they joined the Big West with a record of 0-1-4 against the Tritons
+ The Tritons have had success through a team effort with Olivia Shih's 10 points leading the Tritons. Defense has led the charge with third-year Charlotte Wilfert in goal (0.71 GAA, .846 Sv%) including 15 saves in a draw with Utah Valley
