IRVINE, Calif.-- UC Irvine women's soccer's next freshman newcomer was a jack-of-all-trades in Milan Heisdorf.
Â
A central midfielder, Heisdorf heads just up the street as an Irvine native, Woodbridge High School alum, and member of Slammers FC. She was the team's Defensive MVP along with First Team all-league in the Pacific Coast League of which the squad won the title. Her talents were not limited to the soccer field as she played three years on the basketball team where she also won a league title there.
Heisdorf's toughness was exemplified as a flag football player as well joining the inaugural varsity flag football team, and once again brought home a Pacific Coast League title while also earning MVP honors. Her flag football accolades earned her a spot on the U.S. Junior National Team.
Outside of sports, Heisdorf was instrumental in the high school's own Bridge Clothing Company as it's President.
""Milan can play almost anywhere. She is an excellent athlete in multiple sports with a high 'sports' IQ. As a result she can make the game look very simple," raved head coach
Scott Juniper.
