The summer season is in full force with 'Eaters playing from coast-to-coast. Here's a look at who is where and some of the action that's already happened.
U.S. Collegiate National Team
Anthony Martinez
The star freshman played five games for Yarmouth-Dennis in the Cape Cod League before joining the U.S. Collegiate National Team in Cary, N.C. Martinez played in all four intrasquad series games in training camp recording a hit in each. He was not included in the final roster that went on to take on Chinese Taipei and Japan, but put up a respectable 6-for-15 with four runs scored and a pair of walks.

Oyama has done what he does best in his first nine games in the Cape hitting .365 to lead the team which included a streak of three straight games with a triple. He's added three steals, eight runs, and five RBIs near the top of the order for the Firebirds
Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox

Anthony Martinez
Finnegan Wall
Martinez played briefly with hits on four of five games and an RBI before heading to training with Team USA. Gleed has started slowly but launched a game-winning home run on Friday.
Finnegan Wall is back in his neck of the woods near his birthplace of West Dennis, Massachusetts. In three starts, he's gone four innings in each allowing just one run in his last outing and posting 15 strikeouts between the outings.

Chase Call
Again the 'Eaters are represented in the recently-formed MLB Draft League as
Chase Call has joined. He continues to bring his good eye leading the team with 17 walks despite playing half as many games as many of the roster, and has added five RBIs and a pair of steals
West Coast League

The Anteater infielder is hitting .305 through 16 games including four RBIs and six multi-hit games with three runs scored in consecutive games June 9 and 10 and posting a three-hit game recently

The Anteater pair for Kelowna are led by newcomer Trevor Wilson posting a three-hit game recently and batting .265 with two RBIs.
Northwoods League
Wisconsin Rapids Rafters

The redshirt is five games deep with Wisconsin Rapids who welcomes in an Anteater for a second straight season, and without a hit yet, he's reached base five times on walks and has played a bit of first base as well.
Thunder Bay Border Cats
Michael Pirrello
The freshman righty began his stint with the Ontario, Canada club allowing three hits in two innings. Pirrello got the start with a smooth first innings retiring a pair of Hawai'i opponents before allowing a three-run homer in the second innings of an 8-3 win over LaCrosse. Since, he's locked down single innings without allowing a run in his last two outings.

A pair of freshman pitchers represent UCI in the Appy League. Both have pitched in four games so far. Joslin has allowed four runs in 5.1 innings punching out three. Brooks has battled through six innings with nine strikeouts including a start in his most recent appearance.

Still early for the trio joining the defending champions, but all have made early impacts.
Max Martin has dished up scoreless pitching in two outings with two strikeouts,
Jacob Stinson posting three hits and three RBIs in five games, and
Will Bermudez is leading the charge with a .400 average including a three-hit game, four extra-base hits, two RBIs, and two steals.

The Anteater duo makes it five players up in the state of Alaska.
Myles Smith is hitting .296 in 10 games with three hits for doubles, 11 walks, and four steals. Vizcaino has come out of the pen in his two appearances earning a win after a 3.2-inning appearance allowing one run and striking out the only two batters he faced on Saturday.

Blake Penso
Penso found his bat late in the 2023 season and has ridden that early in the summer hitting .286 through seven games with four runs and two RBIs. The biggest moment for him has been behind the plate catching a no-hitter in a win over the Academy Barons on June 24.

Dante Zamudio
The incoming two-way Anteater has mostly been used as a pitcher for the Catfish out of Cape Girardeau, Missouri of the Prospect League. Zamudio has allowed a run and four hits in five outings striking out 15 in 11.1 total innings so far this summer.
