IRVINE, Calif. --- The international window opens for the women's soccer world and multiple Anteaters will be taking the field with their national teams including current Anteaters, Laila El Behery and Mihaela Perez.

Multiple competitions get going and resume beginning this week starting with qualification for the African Cup of Nations next year. Egypt went through the first round defeating South Sudan 8-0 on aggregate and now matchup with Senegal in the second round with the winner earning a spot in the AFCON. Egypt has made the tournament just twice and none since 2016. Laila El Behery is in Senegal with the squad looking for her first international cap as the sides play once on Thursday, November 30 (9:00 AM PDT) in Senegal before finishing up in Egypt for the second leg on December 5 (8:00 AM PDT).

Mihaela Perez is also looking to make her international debut as she joins up with the Guamanian National Team in Zhuhai, China for the EAFF E-1 Football Championship. Preliminary rounds start December 2 in Zhuhai for Perez and Guam with kickoff at 9:00 PM PDT on December 1 back in Southern California where they will take on Macau. Group stage action finishes up at 12:00 AM PDT December 4 against Chinese Taipei before knockout rounds commence with Guam looking to make the Final Round for the first round in the team's history. Perez also joins up with her twin sister, Jenae Perez, as each look to earn their first international caps with the senior squad.

Elsewhere, a pair of decorated alums have also gotten the call-up both with the Mexican National Team, Kiana Palacios and Scarlett Camberos. The team is in qualification stages for the first-of-its-kind 2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup taking place next year. Mexico has already played a pair of matches in group stage action in September that featured Camberos' first career international goal as the game-winner to beat Puerto Rico. The qualification round concludes next week with Mexico against taking on Puerto Rico in Bayamon on December 1 with kickoff at 4:00 PM PDT before another rematch with Trinidad and Tobago on December 5 in Port of Spain at 3:00 PM PDT. Camberos has seven international caps with that one goal to her name while Palacios enters the weekend with 33 caps and eight goals wearing the Mexico kit.

Other recent call-ups include Aveka Singh with the Indian National Team in October around their Olympic Qualification round. Singh is looking for her first international cap with the squad.

Jessica Miclat also played recently with the Philippines National Team in Olympic Games qualification in Australia entering in one of the three matches as the team barely missed out on advancing to the Third Round of qualification. Miclat is up to 28 career international caps with one goal and is enjoying a successful campaign this year in Sweden for her club, Eskilstuna United, with a goal in 24 matches
