Zickefoose Honored as Academic All-District

IRVINE, Calif. --- The 2020 Academic All-District Baseball Team, selected by CoSIDA, was unveiled Thursday with Anteater Konnor Zickefoose making the cut.
The grad student returned to the squad for a fourth year in 2020 working toward his Master's in Finance after attaining his undergraduate degree in sociology. Zickefoose has hit over .300 in his three seasons on the field with over 100 hits, six home runs, and adding three of his 46 RBI this season in right field, as a DH, and making his debut at third base this year.
The 11-player squad put together in District VIII including Zickefoose as the only Big West member. He is the first UCI player since Jonathan Munoz on the 2016 squad. Zickefoose is 1 of 20 players on the squad that finished last quarter over a 3.0 contributing to a team GPA of 3.1.
Zickefoose and all the other all-district honorees will be on the ballot for All-America consideration which will be voted on and unveiled mid-June.
