Summer Session in Full Swing for Baseball

Trenton Denholm had a pair of scoreless appearances in the Cape Cod League before heading to training camp with USA Baseball. Denholm will find out if he's made the team roster for the remainder of the summer that will play Cuba and travel to Japan and Taiwan.
Joining him in the Cape is Jake Palmer on the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, a consistent home for Anteater summer leaguers
A prodigious league for Anteaters in the summer is the West Coast League spanning Washington and Oregon. Four Anteater first-years are playing on four different teams here in 2019.
The 'Eaters have one representative in the Northwoods League in Jake Cosgrove who was redshirted in 2019 due to transfer rules
Three 'Eaters head north to Alaska including a pair playing in Anchorage.
One of the Anchorage talents is newcomer Taishi Nakawake as he's joined in the league by Corbin Barker, two of nine Anteater newcomers spreading their wings in the summer leagues. Most will stay local in the Sunset Baseball League and Southern California squads.
Kaz Akamatsu is headed to Japan for the second straight season to train with Japanese baseball clubs
