IRVINE, Calif. --- In an effort to get in as much baseball as possible around the forecasted weather this weekend in Springfield, Missouri, UC Irvine and Missouri State have shifted their baseball series dates and times this weekend to accommodate that.

The programs will still open the series Friday, March 1 at Hammons Field, but they will now play two 7-inning games as part of a doubleheader starting at 12:00 p.m. Central Time (10 AM PT). No games will be played Saturday or Sunday shortening the series to two games.

Baseball Series - UC Irvine vs. Missouri State
Hammons Field - Springfield, Mo.

Friday, March 1
Game 1 (7 innings) - 12:00 PM CT (10:00 AM PT)
Game 2 (7 innings) - 30 minutes following the conclusion of Game 1

Saturday, March 2
No baseball games

Sunday, March 3
No baseball games

All games will be broadcasted over the internet via kuci.org and ucirvinesports.com. Fans can stay updated via ucirvinesports.com as well as at the team's twitter page @UCIbsb for any further changes to the series and the Anteater season.
