IRVINE, Calif. --- Keston Hiura added to his trophy case once again raising his yearly total of All-American honors to four as he was named to the First Teams of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and Perfect Game / Rawlings.
On all four teams, Hiura has scored First Team honors as a designated hitter as he led the nation in batting and on-base percentage leading nearly every offensive Big West category. His .442 average broke a 46-year-old program single season record, and he became the all-time program doubles leader with 24 this season to tie the program record.
Hiura was the lone Big West representative on NCBWA's list, while he was 1 of 4 named from Perfect Game / Rawlings with the other three landing in the honorable mention section.
