IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine was represented on Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's All-American list with Keston Hiura taking home First Team honors.
The Big West Field Player of the Year ended the season as the nation's leader in batting average at .442 and on-base percentage at .567 while also finishing among the national leaders in walks, doubles, and slugging percentage.
Hiura was honored on four Freshman All-American teams in 2015, and had multiple Preseason All-American honors entering both his sophomore and junior seasons. He's joined on the squad with four other Big West players, however he stands alone on the First Team.
