- Chose UC Irvine because the coaches were extremely welcoming and easy to get along with. Also coming from Texas who wouldn’t love to be able to live on Newport Beach as a college student.
- Best sports moment was striking out the side in his first inning following Tommy John Surgery
- Fan of Brian Roberts, the Boston Red Sox, and the New Orleans Saints
- Enjoys watching his favorite movies, Interstellar and Harry Potter, and would love to meet Matthew McConaughey
- Enjoys the musical stylings of John Mayer
- Other favorites of his are hunting, fishing, golfing, fettucini alfredo, watermelon, playing guitar, kangaroos, and would love to visit Bora Bora someday
