'Eaters Fall at No. 1 Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. --- UC Irvine women's soccer began its road trip at No. 1 Stanford falling 6-0 Sunday at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.

The top-ranked Cardinal got on the board with a goal on the match's third shot in the eighth minute for a 1-0 lead
Stanford doubled their lead 14th minute and then put in rapid-fire goals in the 38th and 42nd minutes for a 4-0 lead at the half
Stanford added a fifth goal in the 60th minute by Charlotte Kohler, and then sixth goal from the sixth different player to complete the scoring in the 85th minute

Savanna Arruda stood tall all 90 minutes recording five saves
'Eaters posted two shots with one on target from Mimi Dominguez
