UC Irvine Set to Play in Frisco College Baseball Classic

The field of elite baseball powers includes 2026 NCAA Champion Oklahoma, Super Regional participant Kansas from a year ago, and Sun Belt Champion and NCAA Tournament participant Southern Miss playing in this top-tier event at Riders Field, which serves as the home of the Texas Rangers' Double-A Affiliate, the Frisco RoughRiders, and is put on by Peak Events, LLC.
The weekend tournament will have two games per day in a round-robin format. The full schedule, including matchups and game times, will be finalized soon.
"The Frisco Classic has become one of the premier early-season events in college baseball, and the 2027 field is a great example of that," said Ryan Holloway, CEO and Founder of Peak Events.
