· The Anteaters have run their unbeaten streak to four matches (1-0-3) following a trip to the Bay Area that yielded a win and a scoreless draw:
+ Thursday's win at Sacramento State got an early goal from Northern California-native Ella Colombini, her first career goal, for the game-winner paired with a Kori Pickelle brace in a match where UCI out-shot Sac State, 16-5, with 10 of those shots on target and no corners allowed to the opposition
+ Sunday's match at San Francisco was tough all around with neither side relenting in a 0-0 tie. Shots were near even with each keeper saving three of them.
· Thursday featured the return of Suus de Bakker playing her first minutes since an injury in October of last year. She wasted no time scoring a goal in the 64th minute for the fifth goal and 14th points of her career, most on the team
· More firsts came through up north led by hometown Anteaters shining in front of friends and family.
+ The Colombinis were back near Moraga, and Ella Colombini notched her first goal and game-winner as a senior.
+ Ariane Haysman Boaler playing near Stanford registered her first career assist.
+ San Jose-native Kori Pickelle scored twice Thursday to take the team goal and points lead.
+ Freshmen Fiona Shin and Mara Cochon added their first assists with Cochon's going as her first collegiate point
· Laurynn Ziller in net was flawless last week claiming one shutout for herself and combining with Savanna Arruda on the other. She and the team have built up a scoreless streak of 237:03 heading into the week
· Some minutes milestones are approaching with Mihaela Perez 10 minutes from 5,000 in her career. Ivy Williams is 83 minutes from 2,000 minutes. Recently, Anteaters have passed milestones including Trinity Morales hitting 3,000 career minutes and Clara Samson reaching 1,000. Chifumi Sasaki is within reach of 1,000 this week as well

Sunday vs. the Lumberjacks
· Northern Arizona is off to a solid start to 2025 at 2-1-2 with some notable results. UCI will be the third Big West opponent they face having drawn at UC San Diego and won at Hawai'i, 4-2. Their exhibitions featuring a one-goal loss to Arizona and a draw with Arizona State.
· The 2024 team stumbled to a 4-7-6 mark coming off 11 wins in 2023 and their most recent NCAA Tournament berth in 2022.
· NAU and UCI meet for just the third time in their histories and all three will have been in Anteater Stadium. The previous matchups have both been 1-0 in favor of UCI first coming in 2001 and most recently in 2008.
· The Lumberjacks were picked to finish fourth in the preseason poll and are led by preseason All-Big Sky Micala Boex already with three goals and Avery Ott coming off a hat trick against Hawai'i. NAU is fueled by their shooting which is 33rd nationally with 18 shots per match and Boex whose served up 22 already.
