Megan Yang carded second round scores of 68 at The Clash at Boulder Creek Monday.
It is a season-low for each one as Chen tied her career-best that she set last year at this event.
Chen is tied for third with a two-day score of 139 (71-68). She had five birdies today and seven for the tournament.
Yang caught fire on the back nine, recording an eagle 2 on the Par 4 12
th hole then two consecutive birdies on 13 and 14. She is tied for 25
th after a two-round total of 144 (76-68).
The duo led the Anteaters to a team total of 285, which ties the best round of the season. The team is in eighth place overall with a score of 581 (296-285). As a team, UCI is third with 124 pars and 13
th with 21 birdies.
Junior
Charlotte Ryoo is 55
th at 149 (73-76), while sophomore
Kiana Briggs is 56
th with a 36-hole total of 150 (76-74). Â Freshman

Chanelle Hwang is 104

The tournament concludes with 18 holes tomorrow beginning with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
