
Anteaters Conclude Weekend at UCLA

LOS ANGELES - The UC Irvine men's track & field team wrapped up its weekend with the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational Saturday at UCLA's Drake Stadium.
Quincy Stokes won the Open section of the shot put with a personal-record 50-04.5, while Jacob Hawkins took third at 46-08.75. In the Invite section, Justin Willingham established a lifetime-best 53-05 to come in fourth.
Hawkins (161-09) and Willingham (158-08) also competed in the discus.
Seth Enochs contributed a sixth-place showing in the long jump with a leap of 22-07.75.
On the track, Miles Duncan crossed the finish line in a season-best 1:52.60 to place seventh out of 27 in the 800m.
UC Irvine will make its home debut next weekend, hosting the inaugural Vince O'Boyle Track & Field Classic at Anteater Stadium, April 1-2.
