Angela Bagasbas Shoots One-Under On Day One Of Gunrock Invitational

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Senior Angela Bagasbas leads UC Irvine after the first two rounds of the Gunrock Invitational held at the Del Paso Country Club.

Bagasbas is tied for 17^th with a score of 143. She had one-under par 71 on the first round and even par 72 on the second.

Sienna Lyford and Bagasbas were first and second, in Par 3 scoring at four-under and three-under, respectively.

Lyford is tied for 22^nd, one shot behind Bagasbas with a score of 144, carding two rounds of 72.

Junior Megan Yang is tied for 37^th place with a two-round score of 146, while freshman Nicole Zhang is tied for 58^th at 154 (79-75) and freshman Charlotte Ryoo is tied ofr 64^th with back-to-back 81s.

Sophomore Coco Yang is tied for 50^th with a total of 151 (77-74) playing as an individual.

The Anteaters are in 10^th place at 587 (294-293) in a field that features five nationally ranked teams. Top-ranked Stanford leads the field at -34, 542 (265-277).

The tournament concludes tomorrow with 18 holes beginning at 8:00 a.m.
