Carley Brown's assist was her first career point as she stands one match from 50 in her career.
Despite being outshot 19-3, the 'Eaters made their one shot on frame count putting it in the back of the net, and they also secured more corners than ASU, 5-2. Paopao registered her first career loss in just her second match picking up three saves along the way. The match also saw four cards despite only nine total fouls.
Coach Juniper's Thoughts
"Great start from the team," lauded head coach
Scott Juniper. "Fully deserved to be in the lead, but we couldn't secure it and let them back into it and lost our way near the end of the half."
Juniper praised the team's second half effort shutting down the hot Sun Devils and countering well with help from the starlet, McKimmey.
"
Lauren McKimmey made her collegiate debut and played really well at the heart of the back line making good blocks and showing good composure.
Carley Brown player another composed game linking well, breaking lines, and causing a lot of problems to create the goal for Scarlett who has really come on as an offensive threat."
