Anteater Newcomer: Ella Brinkerhoff

IRVINE, Calif.-- UC Irvine women's soccer announces another member of their incoming class for the 2026 season in Ella Brinkerhoff.
Brinkerhoff grew up in Mission Viejo and was a four-year star at nearby Capistrano Valley High School. There she was named Second Team All-South Coast League as a freshman. She's also a striker in every sense of the word backed up by leading her team in scoring this past season. On top of the soccer skills, she was a scholar-athlete all four years as well.
Brinkerhoff made her way on the club scene with Pateadores and was part of the National ID Camp pool for the U.S. Youth National Team.
"Ella has excellent soccer DNA! Ella is an exciting prospect with bags of athleticism and a huge upside. We have developed a few players in the past with a very similar physical profile who have gone onto the pros so we can't wait to start work with Ella.." - head coach Scott Juniper
