April 27, 2026 | Women's Soccer
IRVINE, Calif.-- UC Irvine women's soccer adds some flavor from the Pacific Northwest with incoming Anteater Elizabeth Hayes.
Hayes hails from Gig Harbor, Washington where she played for Gig Harbor High School primarily as a forward. The last three seasons she's been named First Team all-league and First Team all-area helped by leading the team in goals twice and leading in assists all three years, and this season was named to the Leadership and Coaches Award along with Offensive MVP.
As a club player, Hayes has led the club in scoring the last four years for Washington Premier FC, and was selected to the national selection game at ECNL Phoenix in 2024.
"'B' is a wide player who loves to run at defenders. She loves to take chances and that's a quality you need to do well in our system of play. She is quick, unpredictable, and can attack the end-line or the inside channel equally well." - head coach Scott Juniper
