
UC Irvine Sails Past San Diego State, 13-8

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – No. 10 UC Irvine got back in the winning column after defeating No. 25 San Diego State, 13-8, Friday afternoon in San Diego.
With the win, UCI snaps a two-game losing streak and improves to 12-7 on the season. SDSU falls to 7-10 overall.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
> Freshman Piper Smith led all scorers with four goals
> Mary Brooks and Tara Prentice each completed hat tricks, scoring three goals
