Incoming Class: Scarlett Camberos

| By:
IRVINE, Calif. --- Commanding the midfield could be our next Anteater freshman, Scarlett Camberos, very soon.

The attacking midfielder joins UC Irvine up from San Diego and Bonita Vista High School, a program that took home league titles in each of her first two seasons.

"Scarlett is a crafty forward who can also play in the midfield. She has great feet, an eye for a final ball, and does well in front of goal," commended head coach Scott Juniper.

Camberos was all-league twice and twice was the school's offensive player of the year. Her success translated onto the club scene as well between Aztecs, Chula Vista Rangers, and Rebels Soccer Club before her last two seasons with Albion SC where she was the Far West Regionals top scorer in Idaho. Camberos even represented Baja California last summer playing in the National Olympics of Mexico.

A CSF life member, Camberos is interested in UCI's criminology, law, and society field toward becoming a detective alongside her midfield skills on the pitch.
