Cami Privett Invited to Houston Dash Preseason Camp

IRVINE, Calif. --- Another Anteater looks to break into the professional ranks as midfielder Cami Privett is getting her shot with Houston Dash of the National Women's Soccer League.
Privett joined the squad for a tryout last week looking to join current league members CoCo Goodson and Rachel Wood. Privett's talents earned her an invite to preseason training camp which begins March 9.
"Cami loves the sport, she loves to play, and I am thrilled that she has earned this opportunity," Head Coach Scott Juniper voiced. "She will have to prove herself every day at the next level. If she takes the energy and inspiration she has been showing at practice to the professional environment, I have no doubt that she can become a top pro player."
Wood made her way to the top club after spending time with the reserves through the first half of the season in 2014. Privett's fate will be determined in the coming month with the NWSL slated to kick off on April 10.
