Duane Solomon is in his first year as a volunteer assistant at his alma mater.
Solomon was a four-year letterwinner on the UC Irvine track & field team (2013-16). As a senior, he garnered All-Big West recognition as a member of the Anteaters’ 4x100 relay team that finished third in a season-best 40.97. He was also a conference finalist in the 100m after notching a personal-record 10.83 at the Steve Scott Invitational.
Solomon came to UCI from Great Oak High School where he was an All-American and first-team all-league selection.
Solomon graduated from UC Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in criminology, law & society in 2016.
