• Lettered in track & field at Buchanan High School
• Finished third in the shot put and discus at the 2019 Tri-Valley Athletic Conference Finals
• Also placed among the top-eight in both events at the CIF North Area Meet
• Went on to take 10th in the shot put at the CIF Central Section Masters Meet
• Competed unattached at the 2020 Simi Valley All-Comers Meet where he registered a personal-record 55-00.5 in the shot put
