• Lettered four years in track and three in cross country at La Costa Canyon High School
• Received first-team All-CIF and all-league accolades in the 3200m
• Two-time first-team All-CIF performer in cross country
• Led the Mavericks to a pair of San Diego CIF runner-up finishes (2013-14)
• Earned all-league distinction in each of his three years, including first-team honors as a senior
