Schuld Opens Bryan Clay Invitational with Personal Record

AZUSA, Calif. - Senior Joshua Schuld represented the UC Irvine men's track & field team on the first day of the Bryan Clay Invitational Wednesday at Cougar Stadium.
Schuld had an impressive showing in the steeplechase where he crossed the finish line in a personal-record 8:51.28. He placed 24th out of 97. Schuld trimmed nearly three seconds off his previous best to move up one spot to No. 5 in program history.
The Anteaters will be back in action tomorrow at the Bryan Clay Invitational, Pacific Coast Invitational (Long Beach) and Mt. SAC Relays (Walnut).
