
UCI Finishes Day 2 at Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's track & field team had a small group in action Friday at the Mt. SAC Relays.
Jacob Hawkins placed fifth in the discus with a toss of 55.79 meters (183-0). Justin Willingham wasn't far behind as he was just shy of his lifetime best at 54.80m (179-9) to take seventh.
Alan Vuong tied for fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.97m (6-5.5), while Jake Reed notched a season-best 4.70m (15-5) in the pole vault.
Drew Pickett was the lone Anteater to compete on the track. Pickett was sixth out of 26 in the 110m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 14.22 seconds.
The 'Eaters will close out the Mt. SAC Relays, while they will also compete in the Chris Rinne Invitational in Riverside on Saturday, April 20.
