LA JOLLA, Calif. – UCI fell to No. 3 UCLA, 21-15, in game three of the Triton Invitational.
Four Anteaters had multi-goal games with redshirt junior Jake Liechty scoring his two in the first quarter.

- Freshman Nolan Cary made his first collegiate start in the cage and played 20 minutes
- Junior Garrett Selby played the remaining 12 minutes of the game in the net
- Selby blocked No. 3 UCLA's lone five-meter opportunity
- Liechty, Wyley Dale, Jack Stevens, and Gage Verdegaal all had two goals in the contest
- Luka Krstic, Samuel Otta, and Johann Thrall are on three-game scoring streaks
- The Bruins committed 12 exclusions while the Anteaters had 10
- UCI scored the first goal of the game for the third straight game
- The second quarter was a high scoring affair as UCLA and UCI scored eight and six respectively
