IRVINE, Calif. – The UC Irvine men's water polo team kicks off the 2023 campaign at the Triton Invitational with four contests between Sept. 2-3.

>The Bruins were selected to represent Team USA in the World University Games in China, but fell in the bronze medal contest
>UCLA was picked to finish second in the MPSF Preseason Poll along with rival no. 2 USC, and return Gianpiero Di Martire, Makoto Kenney, and Bernardo Maurizi
>Biola completed their second ever year of competition in 2022, ending with a 15-17 record
>This will be the first meeting between UCI and Biola in program history
