LOS ANGELES - The UC Irvine men's track & field team completed its weekend in Los Angeles with the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational Saturday at UCLA's Drake Stadium.

Justin Willingham had a pair of top-10 showings in the throws as he took sixth in the shot put (54-00.5) and seventh in the discus (162-08).
Quincy Stokes was also ninth in the shot put at 51-06.5.

Decathlete
Max Daniels came in fifth out of 21 in the long jump with a leap of 22-09.75.

On the track,
Jarel Sayles led the Anteaters with a fifth-place finish in the 110m hurdles. Sayles clocked in at 14.49 in his season debut.
Maxwell Jefferson was also eighth at 14.93 seconds, while also competing in his first career 400m hurdle race (56.78).

In the 100m,
Brandon Burns (10.81) and
Carlo Reyes (11.04) both clocked season bests.
Ty Sheridan did the same in the 400m with a time of 49.81.

Malcolm Overbaugh was UCI's top performer in the 200m, crossing the finish line in 21.84 seconds.

UC Irvine will make its home debut next weekend, hosting the Vince O'Boyle Track & Field Classic, March 31-April 1.
