Duke Pascoe set a meet record in the hammer throw with a toss of 56.78 meters (186-3) on his fourth attempt of the day.

Darrin Campbell led the way in the javelin, recording a winning mark of 61.24m (200-11) on his final throw of Flight 1. Campbell passed teammate
Griffin Cole, who had a best of 60.38m (198-1) in the opening round.

Alan Vuong was the only competitor to clear 1.91m (6-3.25) in the high jump, while
Caden Matsumoto finished fifth in the long jump in his collegiate debut. Matsumoto's top distance came on his first attempt at 6.54m (21-5.5).

The 'Eaters continue the Vince O'Boyle Classic on Saturday, March 28. The field events will get underway at 11 a.m., while action on the track is slated for a 12 p.m. start.
