Enochs Named Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week

IRVINE, Calif. - Sophomore Seth Enochs has been named the Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week for his personal-best performance in the long jump the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.
Enochs was the top collegiate finisher and overall runner-up at the Steve Scott Invitational after registering a personal-record 25-00.75 on his first attempt of the meet. His mark ranks second in the Big West and 18th in the West Region this year. Enochs, who moved up to No. 4 on UCI's all-time charts, is the fourth 'Eater in program history, and first since Bob Rust in 1984, to reach the 25-foot mark.
Enochs also competed on the track, running the 100m and contributing to a season-best 41.03 in the 4x100 relay.
This is the first career weekly honor for Enochs and the second for the Anteater men in 2019.
Enochs and his teammates will be back in action next weekend at the Big West Championships in Santa Barbara, May 10-11.
