
'Eaters Compete in Hammer Throw on Day 1 of Beach Opener

LONG BEACH, Calif. - UC Irvine men's track & field had two individuals compete on the first day of the Beach Opener Friday at Jack Rose Track.
The freshmen duo of Sebastian Liu and Min Han made their Anteater debuts in Flight 1 of the hammer throw. Liu led the way, placing 13th overall with a toss of 41.99 meters. Han was also 17th at 31.44m.
Han and the rest of the 'Eaters will be back in action on Saturday, March 2, for the remainder of the events at the Beach Opener.
