RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- Women's water polo completed the sweep of the CBU Mini Invite by defeating No. 25 Azusa Pacific Saturday afternoon, 16-6.
The 'Eaters now stand at 3-1 early in the 2019 season while APU is now 2-4
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
> Mary Brooks led all scorers with five goals, she was also credited with four steals
> Tara Prentice scored four times along with an assist
> Isabel Rack was the only other 'Eater with multiple goals scoring twice
> 10 Anteaters had a steal in the match
> UCI was excluded 13 times and did not allow a single goal while a player down

> The 'Eaters scored the first six goals of the match shutting out Azusa Pacific until 4:52 left in the second quarter
> Rack scored her second goal via a penalty shot at 5:32 in the second

> UCI scored twice in the final 1:17 of the half from Piper Smith and Avalon Gook

> UCI outscored Azusa Pacific 4-2 in the second period
