IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine was not finished receiving accolades for their memorable 2011 season. Four Anteaters were named All-West Region while the team as a whole was among those to win the NSCAA Team Academic Award.

Head Coach Scott Juniper and the squad earned a 3.06 team GPA from the 2010-11 school year.

The 2011 Anteaters had four players named All-West Region, the most of any Big West school. Seniors CoCo Goodson (Ramona / University of Texas) and Judy Christopher (Ontario / Upland HS) made the first team. Natalia Ledezma (La Mirada / UCLA) was named to the second team. Sarah Devine (San Diego / Poway HS) rounded out the UCI selections on the third team.

Goodson and Christopher make the list for the second time. Both earned honors in 2010; Goodson on the first team, Christopher on the second team. Ledezma and Devine made the team for the first time.

Overall, UCI has had 16 selections to the All-West Region team by 12 different players. Ten of those selections have come since 2009.
