Natalia Ledezma Named ESPN Zone Anaheim Anteater Of The Week

Irvine, Calif. -- UC Irvine women's soccer player Natalia Ledezma has been named this week's ESPN Zone Anaheim Anteater of the Week.
The sophomore attacker from La Mirada was named Big West Offensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row and the third time this year. On Sunday Ledezma recorded a hat trick for UC Irvine, only the second time in the last 15 years where a player has scored 3 goals in a game. Her goals helped UCI secure a 4-0 shutout win against Cal State Northridge.
Ledezma scored at least one goal in three straight games and accumulated five goals and two assists over her last three matches. She leads the Anteaters in goals (11), assists (6), and overall points (28).
In their last conference game of the season, UC Irvine will host UC Riverside Oct. 30th at 2:00 p.m.
