While at MCU, the program went from a losing record to winning league and competing in the CAL PAC tournament each year. She was also a sports performance coach for Velocity Sports Performance from 2012-2014, specializing in soccer specific training and soccer team training.  In 2015, she worked as a physiologist for the USWYNT until she welcomed her son Elliott in December of 2015. Schmid has her USSF National ‘C’ License, and she is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

“I am honored to be a part of this staff and to be an Anteater again.  I have worked really hard to gain expertise in the soccer performance side so I am excited to share what I know with the program I love. I’d also like to thank my husband, Kyle, for always being so supportive to me and my ambitions.”
