Andrew Rowe is entering his fourth season as associate head coach of the UC Irvine men's water polo program in 2025, and 18th season with the women's program (seventh as associate head coach) in 2026.

Rowe helped lead the Anteater men to back-to-back Big West regular-season championships in 2023 and 2024. Last year, they went 18-9 overall and a perfect 5-0 in conference. They were ranked as high as fifth in the nation. In 2023, UCI also won the inaugural Big West Championship to earn the program’s first NCAA bid in 30 years. The 'Eaters went 18-10 overall and 4-1 in Big West play, while coming in at No. 6 in the final CWPA national rankings.

On the women's side, Rowe has been part of the program's nine Big West regular season titles, nine conference tournament championships, and eight NCAA appearances. Since Rowe joined the staff, the Anteaters have had 17 consecutive winning seasons with nine 20-win campaigns.

Rowe started playing water polo when he was eight years old. He represented his state and country as a member of the Australian school boys' team and Australia Junior men's team. Rowe went on to play in the Australian National League for five years and coached his former team, Western Sydney.

In addition to working at UCI, Rowe is general manager and head coach of the 18-High School Girls at Socal Water Polo Club. He has also worked in the aerospace industry as both an engineer and in a managerial role.
