Andre Gomes enters his first season as a volunteer assistant coach.
Gomes brings a wealth of professional experience. He won the gold medal at the AVP San Antonio event in 1998 as well as winning a world championship at the FIVB World Championship in Rio de Janeiro (1995) and a national championship in Niteroi, Brazil (1995). He has claimed three silver medals and a bronze over his nine year career.
Gomes earned his bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Alvorada in 1993.
