Aaron Colacion

Aaron Colacion joins the UC Irvine men's soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2019 season

Colacion returns to the Anteater sidelines where he played as a midfielder in 1999 and 2000 scoring once and assisting on five goals over 37 matches played. He was a 2000 MPSF All-Academic Team member and 2001 Arthur Ashe Scholar-Athlete Award winner during his time with the team, and later graduated with degrees in sociology and history.

Colacion's postgrad life saw him start as a coach at his alma mater Esperanza High School taking them to two CIF title games winning once. He jumped into the teaching profession after that first in Garden Grove and then Richmond, Calif. before heading to Asia where he was taught at different schools in the Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, and China. His world tour brought him back to the states in 2018 returning to coaching at Servite High School.
