IRVINE, Calif. - UC Irvine women's track & field closed out the Vince O'Boyle Classic with five top-10 marks Saturday at Anteater Stadium.

In her first career outdoor triple jump competition,
Kailah McKenzie established the No. 4 mark in program history. McKenzie had an impressive series with a best of 12.28 meters (40-3.5) coming on her sixth and final attempt.

Alana Sugue won the pole vault with a personal-record 3.78m (12-4.75), which ranks third all-time at UCI.

The 'Eaters occupied the top-four spots in the 800m.
Emma Hadley was the champion in a lifetime-best 2:07.73, while
Kaia Schmidt was the runner-up with a PR 2:09.14. Hadley and Schmidt rank sixth and 10th, respectively, in school history.
Makena Castillo claimed bronze with at time of 2:14.05, and
Kaitlene Ofilan was right on her heels in fourth with a personal-best 2:14.83.

Halle Sutherland matched her wind-legal PR at 11.61 seconds in the 100m. Sutherland's time sits fourth among UC Irvine's all-time leaders.

Nyla Baker was a double champion in the discus (48.46m/159-0) and shot put where she registered a season-best 14.75m (48-4.75). It was the second-straight year Baker won the shot put at the VOB Classic.
Pinkie Schnayer finished second with a best of 14.09m (46-2.75).

UCI swept the two hurdle races with
Joy Anderson winning the 100H (14.00) and
Esmeray Demirbas coming in first in the 400H (59.50).
Sarah Ajayi added a runner-up showing in the 100H with a personal-record 14.05.

Mikah Longcob clocked a lifetime-best 56.06 to win the 400m.
Gabrielle Hawkins also placed third in a season-best 57.18.

Daniella Hubble earned an individual victory in the 1500m in her Anteater debut. Hubble crossed the finish line in 4:34.79.
Liana Lee (4:35.18) and
Anna Soares (4:35.80) notched personal bests to finish second and fourth, respectively.

Catalina Teran led six 'Eaters in the 200m, claiming runner-up honors at 23.92 seconds.
Samantha Bartz (24.17) was also fourth, and
Aoife Hernon (24.19) took fifth.

Ihe Okoh, Demirbas, Hawkins, and Longcob closed out the meet with a second-place finish in the 4x400 relay (3:43.64).

UC Irvine is back in action next weekend when it heads south for the Triton Invitational in La Jolla, April 3-4.
