Hett Earns Fourth Career Big West Player of the Week Honor

IRVINE, Calif. – Junior Lauren Hett has been named the Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
Hett recorded six points on four goals and two assists to lead the Anteaters to their first Big West win of the season last week. UCI defeated No. 14 UC San Diego, 14-10, behind Hett's performance on Friday night. She recorded her eighth hat trick through 14 games and leads the squad with 38 goals and 20 assists.
For the week, Hett converted on four of her five shot attempts (.800) and added a drawn exclusion.
This is Hett's fourth career Big West weekly award, her first of the season, and the first for UC Irvine in 2026.
