IRVINE, Calif. - Junior Zharia Taylor will represent UC Irvine at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend at Hayward Field. Taylor is set to compete in the women's high jump on Saturday, June 14, at 5:30 p.m.

Taylor is the Anteaters' first NCAA Championship qualifier on the women's side since 2009. She joins Hall of Famer Lauren Collins as the only 'Eaters to advance to NCAAs in the women's high jump.

"I'm just taking it one day at a time and hope that whatever happens is a good close to my season," Taylor said about her upcoming NCAA appearance. "I'm not too worried about going out there and winning, just going out there to execute. If I can PR, I'll take that and go. I would like to make first-team All-American, but if it doesn't happen, I know I've still had a really good season."
