Anteater Newcomer: Kamilah Jones

IRVINE, Calif.-- UC Irvine women's soccer began their buildup to the 2025 season in November with their newest group of signings as we continue to welcome them today with Kamilah Jones.

Jones has been a two-sport star at Helix High School in La Mesa, Calif. both on the soccer pitch and softball field. She helped her squad reach the CIF Quarterfinals this season and win their league with a 5-0-1 record en route to an overall mark of 13-3-4. Her goalkeeper skills have forged her path to UC Irvine that included a successful club career playing for East County Surf.
"From the beginning, the coaches were very upfront and honest with me, which is something I value. UCI also has an anesthesiologist program, which is what I'm studying to become. It ultimately was solidified when I went to the campus and saw the beauty of all the facilities they have to offer and what they provide so that their student-athletes succeed."
