Henno Tabbed Big West Offensive Player Of The Week

IRVINE, Calif. – Men's volleyball player Hilir Henno earned his fourth Big West Offensive Player of the Week honor after the Anteaters swept Daemen and George Mason.
The outside hitter averaged 4.33 kills, 6.33 points, 1.67 aces and 1.83 digs for the week, while hitting .541.
He had 12 kills, while hitting .733 in the first match versus Daemen with four aces, four digs and three total blocks (1 solo). Then against George Mason, the senior led all players with 14 kills, hitting .409 and firing a season-high six aces. He also had a match-high seven digs.
Henno is ranked second in points (5.36) and aces (0.77) and is fourth in kills (4.30) nationally.
The UCI and Big West all-time leader in aces (228) is 27 away from the NCAA mark of 255 held by UC Santa Barbara's Evan Patak (2004-07). Henno is currently in third, six away from Joseph Smalzer from Loyola Chicago (2011-14).
No. 5 UCI will travel to No. 1 Long Beach State Friday then host The Beach at the Bren Events Center Saturday (Mar. 29) at 6:00 p.m.
